Topic: Are they releasing new c'tan???

I don't know where I read but I heard somewhere that GW are releasingh two new c'tans if so what are they and how good will they be?

Maybe some day. There are only 2 C'tan left to bring out, but I have a feeling they aren't going to bring them out at the same time (more profits in bringing them out one at a time). But, that probubly won't be for a long time.

There are two C'tan left unreleased; The Outsider and Dragon, and while one has made guest-appearances in BFG the other is nowhere to be seen. It is likely to remain that way.

Wait, I don't play BFG so I wouldn't know about this, which one was in BFG? Was it just a ship or something, or did they actually have the C'tan roaming the void?

There was a huge thing that could strike at ships in a CJ-article I believe. i don't have it handy but it looked like a miniature shroud sweeping into the fleet and killing then a LOT. Might have been the Nightbringer, I guess, but I think it said Outsider in the article. My memory is fuzzy so don't hold me to that. Ask someone who has the article in front of him.

well if you know that it was either the outsider or the dragon, it would have had to have been the outsider, since the dragon has been in stasis on mars since before humans were there.

Eh, I say bring 'em on. I'm not a big fan of Necrons as a race, but the C'tan have damn cool fluff...which makes for damn cool miniatures.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Not so fast there. He probably is, it's not a definate thing. GW likes to pull stuff, and they may just put him somewhere else.

VERY true...but it'd make for a GREAT campaign if he was on Mars.

Yes, yes it would. Especially when the Mechanicus starts breaking apart and fallowing whichever their loyalties are. Right in the codex they talk about the Dragon's Machines and "hundreds of serried, fleshy forms, fiddled with sockets and plugs, bleed their essence into the pulsing green heart of the Machine." So it seams to lead us to the thought that it will control many of the Machanicus. Their implants, according to Adept Corteswain (who now hates the Machine God and ripped all his implants out), are crude imitations of the Machine God's image (a false God, come to enslave them all).

But yes, a very cool campaign it would be, indeed. Especially with a few units of Techpriests and such running about like the Dragon's goons.
