Thanks for the comment Dark, and to answer your question no.  The fig is just the metal inquis from GW with some basing work.  All the basing is various grades of flock and balast that i picked up at the local model train store.

I posted these in my Blog as well, but I feel like I should add to this thread and get more pictures in here. Been busy re-painting my Greyknight and so far finished two units. Grey Knight squad and a Character.

Hi all,

I thought i'd share with you my small handful of so far painted Sisters of Battle. I've just started the hobby again after dabbling in it 14 years ago hehe, so the painting still needs a lot of work and practice.

Here they are:

Hi there and welcome to 40konline.

Your minis look very nice.

Do you already have an army list in mind or do you just paint minis as a hobby (as some of us)?

Thanks.

Yeah I am working on a mech list of around 1000 points at the moment, though I keep writing it and scrapping it. I'll post my current list workings on a more suitable part of the forum.

Still got around 30 sisters to get to work on and several transports. Also eagerly awaiting the arrival of a exorcist, cannot wait to paint it though will have to put it towards the back of the queue as motivation.

Thanks for the welcome.

So I finally picked up the new Grey Knight codex and have been transforming my old army into a 'new' one. I figured I would post my Chapter Master that now clocks in at 280 points! I painted him about 7 years ago. All my terminators were painted to match him with the white. Now they are going to be made into Paladins.

Killersquid your paint scheme is sick. I may have to steal that for a few models. Hope you won't mind too much. Haha. Very cool stuff man.

I got my assassin and 5 purifiers done this week. I envision my guys fighting on a "chaos blood world" and this is what I came up with. It's a kit bash army from black templar/dark angel/grey knight sets

Painted up a couple of Stormravens recently, one of which is an alternate model from the Terminator Salvation line:

Nice paint job on the Stormraven.....the Terminator flyer looks cool too, but it looks like it would fit a Tau army more then the GK forces. Keep it up! :)

Just started painting up my Sisters in May for a 1000point tourney.  Colour scheme is based on Order of the Valorous Heart.

I ended up biting the bullet and replacing most of my metal models with the new plastic ones, they just offer much more dynamic poses. I've kept some of my metal terminators, but have stripped and repainted them (including converting my old Grand Master to be Draigo). I've also started an entirely new army from the Grey Knights codex using mostly Inquisitorial units too.

Grand Lord Voran Drast (counts as Draigo)

Strike Squad Runion 'Reverence'

Paladin Squad Delai 'Faith'

Interceptor Squad Vistas 'Deliverance'

Purgation Squad Tearn 'Judgement'

Brother Otholar

Techmarines Adronis & Fuente

Honoured Brother Ardamis

Honoured Brother Hestor

Honoured Brother Paviel

The Venerated Ancients

High Inquisitor Taro Karde (counts as Coteaz)

Inquisitor Wyll Saytaar

Acolyte Squad Aeos 'Penance'

Acolyte Squad Balesta 'Salvation'

Acolyte Squad Eqion 'Redemption'

Caval of the Clade Vindicare

I haven't quite finished my Stormraven, Rhinos, Chimera and my close-combat Acolyte squad yet but will post them up when I have.
