Well, took me long enough to get to this thread!  ;)  If I had known about it I would have been here long ago.

As for me, drums are my thing so Creeping Death, and Rokugan can keep their guitars to themselves.  ;) Just got a new drum set too, now all I need is another bass drum, another two toms, about 3 more crash symbols...

Favorite Song: (tie) Sanitarium, One, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Enter Sandman, and Master of Puppets, along with The Unforgiven, pretty much anything, but most of the songs from Load & Reload

Album: The Black Album/Master of Puppets

Favorite Member: James Hetfield, "Yeah"

Funniest Lars line: "We're going to kick your testies so hard their going to come dangling out your nose, right James?"

"YEAH"

Anyway, happy to join the "group" and I hope St. Anger lives up to my super high expectations.  By the way, is anyone going to the Summer Sanitarium Tour in Chicago? I am.  ;D

I've just realised that Rokugen has a picture of James in his sig... coincidentially, I have a picture of Kirk in my sig...

Let's get a Bass player and a Drummer, and get them some pics of Trujillo and Ulrich.

We're the EO/40k.ca Metllica Fan club! ;D

hahaha I just noticed that too

I have officially made my favorite band member: James Hetfield  ;D
He's a great rithm guitar, but is also a good lead. And he is pretty good at solos too. heh, "YEAHHH!!!"

Who's going to be Larz? we promise we whont hate you  ;)
And Who is going to be Rob Trujillo? I must admit he is awsome, better than Newsted and cooler too! reminds me of a forest troll from Warcraft III  ;D

Shadow Lord, pick one either guitar or bass and play one to get really good. Dont try to split the skill between, only do that when your exceptionaly good at one instrument. I would go for bass, always wanted to but it doesnt look quite right on me, and get as good as Cliff Burton and play "pulling teeth"
But thats just me, if you like guitar more, then no questions, stick with it!  :)

Technically it is not mine anymore as I gave it to my brother and I picked up a guitar so I am concentrating on that.

I will have Rob ;D
Nobody can be as good as cliff :D

He is a great drummer, and apparently a good guy.

Look at Rob! See what I mean by Forest Troll from Warcraft III! ;D

Oh yeah... Just to clear this up, I don't want complaints to arise about the sigs. The same thing happened to the Matrix ones, so maybe keep them about the same size as me and Rokugen's sig. Shadow Lord, you could easily enough get a smaller version of that great pic, and if you can't (and don't know how from your computer), PM me with the address and I'll shrink it down some for you and send it back over.

Long Live Metallica!

I love everything up to the Black Album.  Load and Reload had a few good songs, "Fuel", but the rest sucked.

Bklack Album is one of my favorites, the riffs are sooo dark   ;);D

More Metallica fans???? I know theres more out there, I've seen you *points finge* ! ;D

I was introduced to Metallica with the Black Album and so I may flirt with the likes of Kill em all and Master of Puppets the Black album will always be my favourite.
Put a link to the metallica fan club in your sig so more people can see it.

Link added.

Well, I was introduced to Metallica with ReLoad, but that doesn't stop me from dismissing it as total crap. I got Load after that and thought it was great too, than I got Master of Puppets and threw out Load and reLoad, since they sucked in comparison.

I also don't like the Black Album very much for some reason. I don't like the songwriting as much as their earlier albums, and i hate Enter Sandman. Every single Metal show that I watch never plays One, or For Whome the Bell Tolls, or anything else good. Every time they get a request for something by Metallica, it's always Sandman. :(

I was introduced to Metallica by Load also. Fuel is a great song I admit. But I then got Garage Inc., still love that one, and Ride THe Lightning, favorite.

For some reason I sort of like fuel, but then I listen to everything else and hit myself on the head or something like that. I don't like it when those Reload thoughts come crawling back into my head :-\

Comes to think of it, Fuel was my first Metallica song that I have ever heard.
So yes I am attached to it, untill I heard "Of Wolf and Man"  ;)
