Title: Gun Drones?

I am a little confused on the Gun Drones.  In the codex it says that they have independent action.  Does that mean that they can split up and join other units? (ex. 6 gun drones split up into 2's, 2 go to a firewarrior team, 2 go to a crisis team, etc.)

No...gun drones are gundrones. They either work in squadrons , or as accesories to characters....or as equipment for tanks(where they work as an their own unit when they are relased)

drones can be added into a squad through the team leader if he hardwires a drone controller to himself.  I think that is what is confusing you maybe?

They can also be taken as an upgrade for the vehicles.

Other then that, they function as a squad of 4-8 Fast Attack.
