« on: April 29, 2005, 12:35:43 PM »
 :)Hey all,
For all you daemonhunters out their in the codex under painting gray knights it says you should undercoat with chaos black the paint over with a coat of boltgun but is it really nessasary to do both  ??? wasnt sure if this should be in the painting section or not but as it is a bout the daemonhunters i decided here.

it's your model.  do what you want with it.  i undercoat with chaos black primer, put on a smooth layer of boltgun metal, than top it off with mithril silver.  some people like using chain mail instead.  keep in mind the word *should* in that sentence.  you don't have to, but if you want the same effect, you might want to.
