I was fidgeting around with creating a 2000 point guard list, while I rebuild my guard army, or, rather, build another one... I had the novel idea of just filling up every force organization chart with the maximum of everything, upgrading everything with the most expensive upgrades, just for fun.
I did Armored Company, Iguard, and a general Chaos army. THe Chaos army turned out to be nearly 20,000 points, thanks to tzeentch terminator aspiring champions, and all thier goodies...
Nothing like 143 models in a single squad of Tzeentch!

19 terminator champions, with a hound, spawn, and 4 thrall wizards... each
then the lord with a similar load, except with 4 hounds.
Not to mention, they can add models to the unit thanks to gift of chaos.
But, I was not really trying to make anything effective, just, whatever cost the most.
I do not think any other army in the game can get above 20,000 points, however, I may be wrong!
