1.  Are Synapse Creatures immune to the Deceive ability of the Deceiver?  My friend seems to think so, and he is usually right so I just thought I'd ask here.

The description of the Deceiver specifically states that the test is made even if it would normally be passed automatically. Therefore it would work on fearless models and units within Synapse range (as well as the Synapse creatures themselves).
