Topic: 2k list - lots of power armor

I was thinking about doing a very power armored heavy list... lots of TAC squad kind of thing, this is my idea, tell me what you think.

2k list: Codex Space Marines, CAD: Iron Hands, Allies: White Scars. (2000 pts)

A couple of things are not exactly optimized, Vanguard Vets... really.  Could use those points for a command squad on the Bikes, save an HQ as well, and a drop dreadnaught... but maybe he'll pop a tank.  I just thought the idea of 62 models with 3+ saves running around.  Thought it might be fun.

When I read lots of power armor I expected more power armor. I think you have 50 marines and a dreadnought.  It's not a bad list.  It will win you some games but it isn't really optimized for anything in particular.

Big things that stick out:
You can't take 2 missile launchers in a tactical squad.
Lots of plasma on the legion of the damned.  I'd switch one to melta
Only 5 vets in the vanguard squad.
You have a ton of anti-infantry weapons why the heavy bolters on the Stormtalon? I'd go for skyhammer missile launchers on both of them.
Why Iron Hands tactics? You only get IWND for one dreadnought and the 2 stormtalons? None of your vehicles or particularly survivable.  Maybe go for ultramarines tactics.

Good catch on the two MLs. I was thinking of combat squading it, but they can't have 2 MLs at the start.

Looks like you could do a large list like this with the new codex and get quite a few benefits, like free Transports!  Look forward to picking it up and then revising this list.
