... GOD the Catachan Green and Chaos Black washes where a GOD-send....:
There performance in the tourney........... they were %$#$%#%#^$# AWESOME.
Round 1, they took three turns (we only had 3 turns) of shooting from tau... pathfinders, stealth, HQ crisis suit retinue, 3 squads of 12 firewarriors, devilfish, hammerhead...I started with a squad of 10, I finished the game with 10.................
............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Round 2, versus orks, they took a combined charge from 2 ork mobs and a huge squad of gretchin too, killed them all over 3 turns, they held up my whole flank, without losing one model, also a total of 18 rokkits where fired at them, all failing to hit or wound... (Note: the powerclaws were killed off of both squads cause of 2 lucky lashs that pretty much sniped them from the front rank with rapid fire and shooting from 24" from the same squad)
Round 3, (vs. chaos) they didn't get much action, holding a flank, but at the end of the game, they wiped out a small 6 man missile launcher squad of havocs, with bolter fire alone, and claiming that table quarter...
THEY WERE GOD'S ON THE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
