Countering the Necrons List Building Competition - Vote
« on: May 27, 2016, 05:43:07 AM »
There are four entrants this time, so the chances of victory have markedly increased all round.  Links to their army list entries (see below) are listed in the order in which they were submitted to the contest topic.

List competition vs Necron Decurion 1850p -Firepower.
list comp vs decurion
Reanimate THIS! (1,850 vs Necrons for List Comp)
Necron Suppression 1850 [Decurion Killer Competition]

The poll will run for seven days. You can change your vote if you make a mistake.  If you wish to say who you voted for, this is okay.  Note though that voting is anonymous, so unless you say who you voted for nobody can find out.  The results of the poll will only be displayed after the voting time has expired, as it helps to build the suspense and to stop people voting based on how others vote.

Good luck to all the participants :).

Very low, unfortunately.  Perhaps this was a difficult one regarding the list building, and so fewer people were interested in voting.

There's been a general decline in interest of late. I think maybe people are just a bit bored of these comps, now.
This added to the fact that I'm running out of ideas for new comps means I might wind this down, at least for the time being.
-At some point the competition series has to end so we can crown Haunt the winner and pester Irisado for a custom title!

(PS: congrats, Haunt!)

Before you take a decision on winding down and/or taking a break from posting the competitions, check how many there have been.  I think that it's something like fifteen or sixteen.  Assuming so, I'd say that's a good opportunity to bring the competition to a close for a while.  Such things can always be brought back in the future :).

I agree in shelving it and having a different discussion, of course when the time is right bring it back for good exercise of the mind.

PS: I will be implementing a tournament at my LGS, with my support and hope those guys are ready for a nice Highlander 1500pts.

I like them, it gives me some idea on what I'm liekly to see at the LGS. I didn't vote this time around as it was I didn't see a clear winner. That's more of comment on how OP I think that Necron list was though.

@magenb,

Most Ghost Armies can take care a Necron list. A lot of time, what will eventually happen is the distance to the enemies is your main concern, due to some missions start you at Night-Fighting and crons are unaffected by it from time to time.

Just keep it up and have fun.
