Nice!

Those fire prisms look great; and I'm sure those bikes will end up looking just as awesome.

Great work on the shining spears and the fire prisms, Dread! They look really great! How are you doing the hex pattern on them?

Thanks guys. It's just free hand chaos. Black with a skinny brush. Been using that technique close to 30 years now, ain't broke so. It's time consuming but easy and if I screw up, you can't tell, hahaha. ???

On a side note. Went and got me a new kill team today. FISH STICKS! Now we'll see how pathfinders and stealth suits work. Not getting an army of them, just kt. Win or lose, for fun and I've wanted to paint some of these little buggers. Now, what color scheme?

Looking good buddy and very solid additions at present! My Shining Spears have been doing great and adding a Fire Prism to the mix (in addition to my Warp Hunters) has been huge. Cant wait to get my other 2 finished... let us know how they do in games and keep rocking!

Thanks guys. So I'm stuck at home. This virus thing has the world going nuts. Anyway we don't have any confirmed here but it feels like we're waiting for a bomb to drop. So my boss said not to come work this week. I'm trying to use this time to hobby, started building my imperial knight and working on my spears so maybe I'll get some stuff done. Grr, anyhow, want to work.

Anyhow on another note, I am toying with the name Gypsy Moon for my knight. What do y'all think? Paint scheme will be like a purple to magenta to orange sunset look.

So I did it. Came up with my Harliquin scheme. I play frozen stars so sticking to their fluff colorwise. Here is the first.

You can ask Cav about this being a big deal. I failed over and over to come up with a scheme I liked. Finally.

Good work, Dread 8), the color scheme works even without the checker pattern.

Now get that army in the paint workshop ;D.

Oh boy! My bf just got me a virus relief package to help me from going bonkers during the shutdown.

Now I got some good distraction building to do.

Finished some commission jobs yesterday. Haven't painted a Dark Angel in a long time. Enjoyed this one a lot.

Hey Dread, those Frozen Stars are looking terrific. As always, your airbrush work puts the rest of us to shame.

I really like the Dark Angel too. Very brooding and oozing that DA energy.

Great work man!

Thanks Loosh! Glad to see you're around.

So I did a thing. I bought, a few weeks back, the makings of a tau kill team. I don't actually play tau in 40k but wanted something different for kt. I spent this afternoon doing a quick paint on them. So here they are...

Haha, my wife named the the "Poison Frogs".

So now I'll get my aim back on to my Frozen Stars.

Wow Dread you've been dropping some bombs in here :)

Your take on the Frozen Stars looks amazing! Really nice star work

I like the concept you did with the Tau, they looks awesome on the table as a skirmish set.

A bunch of cool stuff, Dread! Go nuts on those Gloomspite! They all look really fun to paint!

I second (or third) that the frozen stars scheme so far is looking grand. How are you doing the star pattern?

Thanks bud. I start with a base, white or black depending on if I want bright or dark. The trick is rip a piece of poster board , curving it into shapes, then hold the desired shape where you want to have it and spray along the edge. The ripped board gives a not so smooth edge kinda like clouds. I started with black then blended a dark blue to a medium blue to a light blue. Afterwards I go back and use the dark blue to fog over the lighter shades then crisp up the black. The stars are the easy part, water down white 50/50 then use a stiff bristle brush and flick it towards the area you want them. It's time consuming but has a nice presence in the end. I've not used my air brush on to many small models but on the bigger ones it's great piece of equipment to have.

I'm getting close to finishing my first sisters squad.

I'm also loving your sisters, Dread! They look wonderful!

It's strange because you almost accomplished a similar scheme I was thinking about when I wanted to do a Sisters force.

Except the main armor would basically be turquoise, and the robes white :).
