well I have put some paint down and so far I am done with the two primary colors for the paint scheme on the Macharius.  have to do the treads, all the metal bits and then the fun weathering part.

Already finished my first set.  Please note that this is actually a quick job.  I need these sisters painted up to 2000 by at least next February.

First of two squadrons of Roughriders for my GT army - the thing is I'm not that happy with them, I've doing a revised version for the Phoenix Club anyway, and I know I can create better models then these - which combined with the rush I'm in has reflected a bit in a half-hearted paintjob, it probably does'nt show given the pictures are a bit dark and its from a distance but up close they're not as well done as I'd like.

okay, this tome ill do it!

the nids section of the battle for macgraegge box set.
Still I lay cold, my soul seeks light / my eyes are tired; my heart's last fight
Around my shell of wood and cloth / trickle sound of wound and loss.
Broken voices of tears and cry's / sorrow and love for a Nation's son's life.
Mother and Father alone in thought. / Of the bravery and pain in the battle we fought.
We move slowly we three welcomed home. / A parade of silence, hands and flags wave
Above our bodies, they gather as on, / Along this highway of heroes for two seconds of light.

I pledge 5 termies and 1 Dreadnought for my Blood Ravens army.  How about a command squad on the maybe?

Really I have to do more than that to get this thing done in time...  I painted up 2 full Tac squads and half of my Dev Squad in the last 2 weeks :)

Oh Boy! After skipping last month altogether, I am not too late to hereby vow for this month:

one...big...shooty. ..BANEBLADE.

Since I'll be receiving it around this time next week, I have a nice two week project. Pics are a must, and I will be posting them.

If I don't finish this, I'll kill something. :P

I Vow:

1 Imperial Guard Shock Trooper

Mr.Squid
Maybe the regiment consists entirely of Ninjas who were orphaned by Dark Eldar slavers. With a score to settle, these black clad night assassins fight against their hated parent-murderers with laser shurikens and untold ferocity.

Well I got the Terminators done...look quite nice if I say so myself  ;D

Sorry for the pictures being so dark.  I turned up the ISO on my camera and tried to up the exposure in Photoshop, but I really just don't have enough light at the moment.  I'll see if I can try re-taking them later.

Cheers!

college and anime club got me offguard in too many responsibilities.

Here's my progress after 5 days.

I know, I know.  BOOoo!  I'm using metal paints.  So what, even though NMM is very pleasing, I think metal paints has their own attractive attributes as well.  I just love the metal long on the model, hence one of the reasons why Iron Warriors for chaos were pretty damn popular choice of Army.

That's a pretty sweet looking techpriest there.  I can't say I'm particularly fond of NMM, especially on a tabletop.  It just doesn't look right.  Good for display, but when you actually start looking at it from different angles, it doesn't always look right.  Particularly the NMM.
