One thing though... when they use the drop pods I am nto certain if they can use their teleport mechanism instead. If they can then you could have each squad have a teleport homer. That'd let your army be teleported anywhere on the field and get concentrated enough to pose a serious threat to the enemy.

Hey, I know this is an old post there, but if everyone is in a terminator suit, you don't need to elect to use drop pods.  Everyone already can be held in reserve to deep strike.
We've been run down every hill.  Chased up all the dead end streets.  But if you try to cut us out, you'll get a kick in the teeth!

There's only two ways this can end, and in both of them, you die.

Yes but he wants to have the dreads deep striking too.

My friend deep struke 3 Furioso dreads right into the middle of my Tau army. That hurt, a lot. Heavy flamers all over the place, then crappy dice rolling on my part ment no destroyed dreads, then super assualt phase and he kicks my behind! It is a devestating combination with long range fire support like a Predetor and some tac marins in Rhino speeding all over the place. Then there was the Death Company...
That was a fun game...
Next game I got him back, Tau (him) vs. Harlie (me). I got first turn, got really close and all out of sight, thank fully, then BAM! I hit him in both flanks and sandwich him. The game took two turns. MUHAHAHA! Shortest game I ever played. ;D

It would be even better (or worse depending on perspective) if accompanied by another three regular Dreadnoughts. Six deep striking Dreads would have to hurt a lot.

Yeah but that's probably the equivalent of three wraithlords. And who would sink to that level? (except a friend of mine who did it once in a while just to show off)
