I am running a DH game. Give me all your fluff related information about Genestealers and Genestealer cults. Title sez all. Give me all your fluff about them.  Thanks

Um... no.
We are talking four different lists, three different games and a hundred pages of material. That isn't something that you are getting reproduced.

Rasmus is right lich, its seriously ALOT of info to even begin to try and get across. If your interested in this then you really need to research it yourself and then come with the questions, you cant just ask for a fluff generalization because we would be here all year trying to flesh out such a generalization.

Basically Genestealers are Tyranid creatures that operate a bit like a disease, they infect other organisms (especially humans) with other Genestealers, and they generally cause alot of damage.

A Genestealer cult is a body of Genestealers, Hybrids and Humans that are held together like one giant mutated family, they operate in secrecy and try and cause mayehm and discord before a Tyranid Hive fleet arrives to eat everything on the planet.

Try online sources like Lexicanum for background information on the Genestealers.  Check out Dark Reign (link in signature) for an interpretation of Genestealers and their background in the Dark Heresy setting...

Hope that's what you're looking for or is otherwise helpful.  Remember, though, even though it is based upon the official materials there is always going to be a degree of interpretation and "fan 'fluff'" in there.  In short, be warned.

I would not recommend Lexicanum as a source to anyone, as it is not checked against canon fluff, but a lot of "well I think..."-fanboyism, and without a way of telling that junk from the canon stuff, it becomes rapidly invalid.

There is nothing terribly wrong with Lexicanum, i would just take alot of stuff on there with a pinch of salt rather than literally. I have found some excellent stuff on that site, if you wanted to learn about Genestealer cults you could get some good information on there.
