Hang on,... I thought it was like this:

500points by the second month, but you still have to do a certain something a month (ie I'm doing 200 points this month, 300 next month).

The point of 500pts is that you'll have a legal force at the end of month 2, not that you get 2 months to paint everything.

So, pick half of your 500pt list and paint it this month!

Or am I wrong?!?

Well, either way, I'll have SOME point level done by the end of this month, and the rest done by the end of November.  Over all of the actual models will be done this month, I think, but I'm doing all Night Gobbos in the first bit, so 250 points probably won't be hit (unless I do get around to my shaman, then I'll break 300).

The original intention was to get a legal force within the 1st 2 months... 1 HQ and 2 Troops.... no point restirction of any size was made... and then in month 3, you get it to a playable size (250, 500, 750) whatever is good for you...

Here is an example.
Month 1 & 2, Farseer on JB, with Mindwar (105pts)... 3 Jetbikes with 1 Cannon (76pts), 3 Jetbikes with 1 cannon (76pts)... Totals.. 257pts... Its legal but it aint much to work with.. so in month 3, this army could add 243 points to be a 500pt playable force..... Or he could even add 43 points and do a 300pt game if he has an opponent that is willing.

Does that make sense... Anyway, I think that the Neconr example I used (my own army list) confused people.... The size for month 1-2 is not important, its jsut HQ and 2 Troops (of your choice.)...

well im getting my HQ and 2 troops done this month then ill add on each month.

I think I'm lucky in the fact my 1 HQ and 2 Troops is actually 500pts

So does that mean I can take 3 months doing them? Lol

Well hopefully I'll have them done soon actually. Got . . . 9 more marines to build, and then to painting!
