SWEEEEET!!!! Vow Complete :o ;D :D lol never thought id hear my self say that but i did it:

3 wardancers, 1 treeman, 1 wraithguard, 1 spell singer and 1 HE unit champion all complete haha lol pics of the most recent completion the spell singer.

i used a lot of wetblending on this model hope it shows... it shows really well in real life and im definatly going to keep using this technique, its quick, very effective and gives a very smooth finish

appologies for the crappy pics but i still cannot work with the camera ive got

Here to report an absolute , dismal failure . Got the Wave Serpent and Banshee's done . But was not happy with Autarch or Farseer , so they have had the pleasure of being stripped 4 times this month .

At least I got 4 Swooping hawks done and a good start on 3 Warp Spiders . Oh well , next month is a new month .
Models painted 2011 . 2010 in brackets .
Infantry : 0 (32)
Large Infantry : 0 (9)
Bikes/Jetbikes : 3 (0)
Walkers/MC's : 0 (5)
Tanks : 0 (4)
Large Tanks : 0 (0)

Last unit painted : 3 Eldar Jetbikes
Screw it, I give up.

Well, Im leaving tomorrow to take a short hiatus and visit the girlfriend, so I'm marking myself happily, as a failure this month.

Vow:

3 Rhinos
1 Land Raider Crusader
2 Dreadnaughts
2 Jetbike Warlocks
1 Jetbike Autarch
1 Falcon Grav Tank
6x Fire Dragon
8x Guardian Jetbike
12x Warp Spider
Eldrad

Extra I did after the lock date so I couldnt change the vow:

18 Path finders
1 Fire Prism Grav Tank
Maugan Ra

Still a success in my book, got a lot painted that wasnt painted before the month started!

Alright, got a semi-big annoucement.  I'm going away (leaving friday), and I won't be back till July 4th/5th.  So, I won't be able to do the challenge for next month, or rather, I won't be able to start the thread till I get back.  So, I'm going to put this to a vote by you guys.  I can a] start the thread on the 29th, and end the period before vows are locked early, b] start the thread on the 5th, and push back the time till vows are locked, or c] let someone else do the vows for that month.  If C is chosen, PM if you're interested in running it for that month.  I'll give this a day before deciding what to do (I run the challenge on another site and would like do both challenges similarly)

I say just start the thread early.

If you don't wanna do that I guess I could do it for one month. I am going to take easy myself and make it more a building month then a painting month as I gotta get started for my next big army project. (still not sure if I am going to go IG or Nids)

if you want me to do it just say so and I will start it in July, but I don't think anyone will care if you start Julys thread in June by a few days.

That's what my gut was saying, do it a few days early.  I figured see what the community at large thinks, and go from there.

Sure, start it early.  Go have a blast.  lock the vows on the 10th as normal or 10 days after you start it as you see fit.

2 out of four drones mostly done.

come on Web Ghost you are almost done! you can finish it!

I sealed my last group of sisters. now to just build, magnatize then paint a Immolator and Excorsist and I am all 100% done!

I did get all the parts out and cleaned up all the metal parts for the Excorsist but now time to play some mindless video games.

Well, no pictures, But I'm halfway done 5 orks, and finished 10 IG. I would have done more, but I have year end finals and whatnot. Oh, I also started My sentinel.

Mr.Squid
Maybe the regiment consists entirely of Ninjas who were orphaned by Dark Eldar slavers. With a score to settle, these black clad night assassins fight against their hated parent-murderers with laser shurikens and untold ferocity.

start it when you get back, the deadline can always be pushed back so its not a problem...

however if you do get tired of running these challenges as others have before you id be happy to take the reigns... but not for a while yet youre doing a great job so keep it up

I...are...Web Ghost!  Yes I can do it.  and seriously, if you are going to do all that, the least I can do is paint two more drones.  I'll have it done.  Now to go play mindless video games.

I still have a bit of work to do on the Journeyman, but I'll try and finish her before time is up.  Was pretty much incapacitated last week due to food poisoning, which was loads of fun I tell you.

I say start the thread on the 29th, but close on the 10th as usual.
Almost done my Wraithlord, luckily I have tomorrow off :D and I reckon I can get some of my Beastmen done.
I only have 5 assembled, but at least some paint on them will show I was willing :).
