FYou wont get your pts back on the vanquisher, if you have the vanquisher turret then just use it as a MBT to save yourself some pts, the vanquisher cannon is only good when you know you are coming up against a lot of heavy armor, other than that the regular battlecannon and lascannon should be able to take on most things.

Drop the missile launchers for lascannons, you already have enough anti-infantry power but you are lacking reliable anti-tank weapons (suggested amount is atleast 1 lascannon every 500pts you use)

Lascannon Sentinels are a hard unit to use, they are much to fragile for the weapon they carry making them a favorite target for your enemy.  Given a choice between firing at a sentinel with a lascannon or a squad with a lascannon your enemy will probably go for the sentinel because it will go down easier.  Keep them if you like them but if it were my list I would drop them or atleast break them into two squadrons and put one under HQ choices to better your comp score and so that you can split their fire when you want to (also i ensures that 2 lucky shots dont waste them both in one turn).

So maybe ditch the Sentinels and Vanquisher and throw in an anti-tank tank squad?

I say just use a normal Russ instad of the vanquisher.  Keep the misslie launchers, they are great if you run into a hoard army.  Maybe make one of the squads have a meltagun or something if you want some more antitank.

With all the heavy bolters and multilasers a Steel legion already has enough anti-infantry power and a missile launcher does not help you out enough in these situations for it to be a viable choice, it is also lacking in taking out heavy armor... just my experience with it.

I have had success with anti-tank squads i my mechanised infantry although keep in cover because that is a lot of your firepower in one place and a well placed ordancne template will leave your army hurting.
