The (Kabal of the) Form Destroyers

Lord Malzor riding his prized Reaver.

An older, wiser, Lord Malzor directing troops on foot.

Lord Malzor and his body guard go cruising the streets of the Dark City in his pimped-out Raider

We ony have a few Scourges, and even then, they don't get out much...

Since his Kabal started out as a Reaver gang, Lord Malzor, in his later years, has developed a love of all things flying. Take this Raven, for example...

Here are some of mine... I've got a pretty simple color scheme for my Dark Eldar, I have also eliminated most of the spiky bitz and helmets. All males are bald! Some ladies got to keep their hair...

One of my Archons.

Another Archon on a Reaver Jetbike.

My Raider Squads look like this. It's a stripped down Raven.

When the unit dismounts I take them off the Raider.

For every unit I have that can be mounted I also have them attached like this for my Raiders.

Surfin Hellions.

Ravager with 3 Dissies.

My Warpbeasts.

And a remote controlled Talos.

That's some of it. You can check it all out at my website. Just click on the 40k Dark Eldar tab at the top:

So I posted a few pics a while back, but I figure I may as well jump on the bandraider and put them here... plus I did a tad more work on my converted Lord model, so an update is in order anyway...

Just a small selection to give you a feel of my force.. maybe one of these days I can get a nice shot of the whole Raiding Party out and about...

The Lord... bet you can't guess where I got my inspiration  ;)

If for some reason there's a wild outcry, I can add some extras... vehicles, wyches... you know the drill.

I know I posted this already...but never here...so in case some missed the picts in the painting forum.

(no clue on the kabals name, yet)
I hope that someday I get the inspiration...and finally come up with a name...and I need a name for my cult too. (even if it's not that big yet)

The whole thing a few weeks ago.

It's way bigger now that I added over 100 warriors and a few scrouges.
I'm also going to pick up more next week so no point in taking a pictures yet
(it's not even assembled yet anyways, or painted either, but I'm working on it)

SO imagine this with double to triple the amount of warriors lol

Some of the painted warriors

You know who these girls are...no need to mention their special names...

For those who will complaint about bad picts...sry my cam is actually broken lol (though you somehow still can take picts)

These 2 are rly bad pictures lol...rly old and they don't even show all the raider types...but it's something...

The Dark Moon Kabal ,possibly the biggest DE army ever!
over 20k and awesome, what more do you need to click? (last updated the 02/03/2012)

There are certainly some very unique and interesting armies in here. Its always good to see the true kin represented so well.

As I'm once again getting back into the hobby (tried last summer and trying again this summer) I thought I'd add a few pic of the Poisoned Claw. Please excuse some of the "painting table" pictures but I'm trying to spruce up some older models and get them all looking a bit more respectable.

Archon No'ki, Lord of the Kabal of the Poisoned Claw. On her "Pile In, I'll have the lot of ya" base.

A small raiding party of about 500pts (sans Wyche Raider).

Finally a quick picture of my current project, the nearly all plastic Ravager.

Just a bit of a selection of what I've revamped out of my 2000pts, hope you like.

Just a note... I've begun re-highlighting my Kabal.  I have a core army (2xtroops + HQ) done (2 HQ's, actually... just no Retinue for the one)... and hopefully today sometime I'll finish up both Ravagers.  In any case, I'll try to get some pics up... and maybe some shots of the full Kabal if I can get the kitchen table to myself at some point.

All about the Kabal of the Black Moon (all progress so far)

Be sure to check it out, I'm sure you'll find it interesting if you like dark eldar.
You'll find pretty much everything a dark eldar army has, even some apoc formations lol.
The whole project is all about my (painting) progress. The goal of this project:
create an over 12K DE apoc army XD

So it's been a while since I said an update was coming, but finally I'm ready to post a few up.  Quick plug, I'm featured on a small independent 40k blog hosted on Wordpress (by one Andy Gomez).  If you're interested (there're also other posts and armies, of course) you can find a semi-link on the Twighlight Wraith thread.

On to the goods, though...

My Lord, surrounded by his loyal Incubi...

Might as well post my own DE minis. They've been lying around in the LGC for more than a year but I managed to retrieve them last week :)

A total of about 1,5k pts, but some raiders are missing on the picture (they're severely damaged)

The dracon and her retinue (I rarely use this unit though)

The archon and his band of wyches

Raider gunship: One blaster (front left), one splinter cannon and three regular warriors. I used two of these gunship variants as objective takers, tankbusters or bait.

The Archon. Simple, yet cool conversion

Drazhar and Incubus Master (both of them missing backpacks)

Converted wyches. The one to the left is the succubus (easily spotted by the different armor color) and the other one is a regular wych with a falchion.

Dracon. I love this Eldar warlock and I decided early that I wanted one of those in my army. The conversion is almost pathetically simple: horns from a DE close combat weapon and a long barrelled pistol made of a splinter rifle.

One of the scourges (used maybe once). They need more paint as they are completely black, save the yellow eyes. I wanted to make them a bit batman-like with black armor and such, but they turned out far to color-less. The pose is pretty cool on this one though. Seems like he's spraying a wide area with splinters, or stabbing an enemy who's gotten to close in the eye ;)

And a beloved sniper squad...

... although I prefer these models as dark lances, even if they need some paint. The raider versions really look badass in the hands of a warrior and are much cooler than the metal lances you get in blisters. Pay no attention to the guy in the middle, he's just a dude in a skirt and a ridiculous haircut who tells his squad when to fire.
