Topic: 1500 list(Need some help)Tournament

I have posted this list previously, and I am going to a tournament the Piranhas in my list were converted from a non GW model so I am thinking I cant use them. So I need some help on what to take in their stead, any tips or advice would be great. Thanks!

I think that should come too 1339. the left over points what were put into the Piranhas, and other things.

Now, I'm not really sure what to add that will complement what else I have in my list, but I was thinking about A Ionhead to go tackle heavy infantry because I have plenty of Anti armour.
 So I'm not really sure what to add so let me know what you think.

Looks like quite a reasonable list, plenty of scoring units etc . . . although i would worry about so many footslogging units of Firewarriors.

In today's "everything and his dog has a coversave" environment, I quite like the loadout on your Crisis Suits too.

You mentioned converted Pirahnas - show us some pics fella (in the conversions forum maybe?). As for taking stuff like that (converted from non GW models) to tournaments, I think you find that most / many non-official GW type events are relaxed about that sort of thing. A gaming group that a friend of mine frequents has an IG player who uses Wargames Foundry French Napoloeonic figures (with the addition of some plastic bitz from the GW range) as an IG army. Looks pretty cool too! A French artillery battery as a Mortar team...really looks the part!

As for more constructive advice on the list, theres more than a few very capable Tau players around these Forums. Oink springs to mind for a start. I'm sure you'll get a lot of v good advice!

You can 'lock' it if you want.  It is under the 'modify' button.  It's still there, but no one can post in the thread anymore.  I would say just leave the topic open.  It's no biggie, and you might get some good tips on how to use the list.
