representing a shurieker on a mini

how exactly would you represent a shurieker on a model , like would a shuriken cannon work bor do they look terribly diffrent? any suggestions would help thanx

The thing looks essentially the same. Maybe you can paint the ammo-"trench" oon top of the barrel an organic green to tell everyone that it is alive?
