Drunken Shadowrun
« on: March 24, 2014, 11:41:57 PM »
On the heels of Drunken Black Crusade and Drunken Dark Heresy our next (hardly) annual meet up of old fiends is kicking it up, or at least sideways, a notch with a change of game style. This time - Shadowrun. 4th Ed as those are the books I have sitting back there. I'll be aiming for a reverse Hobbit (ooh ah) where our band of Runners are being hired by a Dragon to retrieve loot from some suspicious Dwarves and dastardly Hobbits. Which will probably last about 10 mins before going off the rails and them trying to incite an Insect Spirit revolution.

Now, what bad media should we be drawing inspiration from this time? I was thinking the Matrix as the characters lend themselves to Shadowrun while be wildly open at the same time to inspired reimagining.

If you can't make fun of something, it's probably not worth taking seriously.

You have to love the smell of science in the morning. It smells of learning.... or perhaps a gas leak.
