Every unit except for the shining spears can ignore ork shooting, but they should hide out of sight.
Main antitank is the crimson hunter, but can get assistance from the hemlocks and spears if things get tough.
The spiders are there to disrupt the opponents pace, grab objectives and work as speedbumps not easy getting rid off. They should deploy so only the unit they shoot at should be within 12" and if it is not destroyed by shooting it should be assaulted. (yes 9" assault is a gamble) they can easily withdraw from combat though to continue shooting.
The two serpents are purely to deliver the storm guardians into range, so they can eliminate horde units, but they should be quite durable targets and can clean up stragglers.

Popping up a farseer near a horrific hemlock, seemed like a fun thing to do as well with mind war, but maybe a bit suicidal?

Oops, forgot to pay for the brightlances  :-[
Edit: Dropped a unit of rangers for the CHX weapons and added stones to the serpents.

How worried are you about ork shooting?

I think you have far too few bodies to hold objectives. How will you deal with turn 1 charges and smite spam? Will the guardians act as a screen in those cases?

I'm not concerned about ork shooting at all, it was merely an example of how good the to hit penalties can be.

First turn charges are always a problem, but it's mostly the rangers that are subject to that and they have enough redundancy to be sacrifices if it means the opponent has to spread out to catch them. Clever deployment should remedy this problem to some extent.

The shining spears might have to use a stratagem to deploy, if the terrain is hopeless.

Against anything MEQ or heavier the guardians can work as a screen against smite and charges.

I'm considering splitting of the fast section by adding a spiritseer into it's own detachment, which could help deny smite spam. Worth it?
