I freely admit to getting quite heated last year about forgeworld, due to previous bad experiences against highly unbalanced units.
That said, I played against them last year and was happy enough, so I don't have a problem with them at all any more.
I even borrowed a Warp Hunter for the day and was blown away by how totally ineffective it was in three out of four games.
My only concern are flyers (actually, Tarrin's flyers to be precise), and I still believe the rules could use some balancing if they're going to be allowed in a tournament environment.
I appreciate the likelihood of meeting one is slim, but that won't make it any easier to take if you get shafted by one.
Anyway.
As Popsical said, this road had already been traveled. I'm certainly not going to call for a blanket ban.
The most whinging I've heard has been about Oink's Cheese Drill and Tarrin's Invisible Flying Shoot-You-Up-The-Arse Drones
Both by me.
The cheese drill is about as underwhelming as the Warp Hunter in reality.
However, everything about Tarrin is unfair and should be sanctioned with extreme prejudice.
