My last game had the same troop choice but with a Hq and Raptor choice and a smaller Terminator squad. The raptors let me down so hard they are now in the bottom of my carry case on time out. The Terminators however did so well I now have a touch of Terminator fever.

Lord: Chainfist is a huge no....... if your opponent has half a brain the IC will never get to attack.

Termies are bad 'bodyguards'...able to fall back and sweept in combat, along with the lord.IoCG is good, HF is ok, there should be a powerfist somewhere in there....while, I don't think such a big unit should be deepstriking, and footslogging usually equates to late game usage.

Oblits are ok.

CSM's with flamers should really be on Rhino's...

CSM's with melta's are ok.

Generally, one does not base their opinions on a handful (or less) of games, as amphetamine parrot happens and there has not been enough games to average their performance out....

If you meet a bear named Sanctjud in the tavern, don't get into his van for candy.  I did once....it's sticky, salty, and really not very nice. :(

No chainfist on Lord coz of low I right? What would be a better option, to put a daemon wep on him and swap the chainfist onto another terminator?

I was thinking a few more fists on the terminators would be nice. But i think this setup for the terminators doesnt work so well. What would be some better terminators, I really do want some at 1500 points.

I'll try and get a pair of rhinos down for the flamer marines.

I like how the obliterators are super terminators, which adds to the feel of the overall army, at least theme wise.

Lord: Lightning Claws........safer option.  The Daemon Weapon would be a 'fun' option.

5 should be the max... generally I see terminators as suicide deepstrikers, so something like:
3 Termies w/ all COmbi (flamer or melta)...if you want a 4th guy, give him the hvy. flamer.... if you go 5th guy he's got the fist.... and unlikely an Icon.

Though termies are cheaper, troops are still the back bone of the army that, IMO win you the games more than other options in the FOC.

The idea with this list is for the defiler to provide some armour saturation so the rhinos can get where they need to a little easier. The Terminators should be able to deepstrike into the middle of the action. The Bezerker squad is so large because of left over points, I’m a little worried of them getting caught in the open after wiping out their target on the charge.

But overall its now much more a mechanised list then the terminator / foot slogger one that it was before.

Looks good. But... Why a Chaos Lord over a DP? I say this because I'm guessing you'll maybe want to deepstrike the Termies now & again? If so that means your Lord is left footslogging all alone & deepstrike kinda nerfs LCs a bit unless you plan on/know you're taking the charge. A DP with wings & MoK is the same price as your Lord & will prob work better; just a suggestion :)

I wouldn't take combi-plasma on the termies. It's too expensive to loose him on a bad die roll, and they are up close and alone so they need meltas that can kill (not hurt, but kill) anything.

CSM squads with 2xflamer should have a combi-flamer for the champ. Three templates do wonders; saturate the unit with hits so special weapons and champs gets designated saves  8)

I would prefer a DP as HQ, but that's a taste issue I guess.
