This is something I heard recently and thought we could start up here. It's a basic game that I was debating wether to put here or in the general 40k board. I decided it was better here, but if mods disagree, it can be moved. The game is simple: I will post one unit from a codex in 40k and the next poster will put one unit to counter it and how they would do it. The next person counters that unit and so on.
First the rules:
-The unit can only come from a current 40k codex (the most recent from each only army)
-Once a unit is used, it cannot be re-used for one whole page IE a unit on page one can't make another appearance until page 3 (if this goes that far). A "unit" is described as an entry in a codex. Should another similar unit exist (terminators and Assault Terminators) it can be used, but wargear changes don't count as a new unit.
-You must explain how you plan on using your unit to counter the prior unit and not just say what you'd use.
-It must be a full legal unit, not just a weapon (Flamers, etc) You have to specify what carries the weapon and how you'll use it.
-A unit can include a dedicated transport.
-Please don't debate or disagree with another poster. Only post to play the game.
So here goes, and I have the perfect unit for this...one that is constantly argued as to its strengths and possible counters...
