Just a short announcement regarding a bit of house keeping.
Some of you may have noticed that a number of local moderators have been removed from various boards in the last couple of days. This is all part of some the recent changes to the Staff to reflect more accurately the activity levels of Staff on the forum. All boards which do not have a local moderator listed are still monitored by the Globals.
-
About time is, I think, the appropriate response. How come names like Samurai and Oink are still listed on some of the boards? From my perspective they don't appear to be active.
-
Staff tend to have to be inactive for more than a year before their status is reviewed.
-
Does "active" just mean logging in then? Or are they up to something in the background that I am unaware of/
-
Being an active Staff member is not defined as posting on the forum or on the boards that the majority of members have access to ;).
-
Humph! Koval was here 3 months ago and didn't even say hello. How rude! :)
-
We would like to ensure you that being dropped into an active volcano is a quick and relatively painless death.
In all seriousness, they're simply inactive so we're doing Spring cleaning. They're all welcome to return to duty, we like 'em all. :)

After all that unbelievable amount of work i put into my mod career i loose my shiny stars?! Outragous! And just because i have basically done nothing for the last 5 to 10 years or so :P
Just back to see if the Forum is still alive :)

There has been an update and all inactive local moderators have been removed. This means that everything should be up-to-date now.
-
Meaning no one else gets to leave. Ever. Ever. Ever.
