I made a buggy (my first but sadly stolen buggy [long story]) it was an old tractor toy i found at school then added some nexting that i got from the art room and painted it up, shoved a lead ork with a mohawk (bent his legs into position) and added a heavy bolter a guy in GW gave to me. i loved that buggy *sniff* it also had the sprues from a model plane i had. painted up with alot of browns

I used a 3.5" floppy disk as a floorbed for 1 of my trukks.

Rippped the disk in two and glued it in place.

The textured interior of the disk was then drybrushed, and voilà !  I can also more realistically put 10 boyz in a trukk now.

I don't have a new rhino or a chimera and I was wondering what space do they have to be able to make into a flat bed, as I need a good looking largish trukk for my Warboss.

At k-mart in the toy section they have these WWII german halftracks about 1/35 scale.  for $8 or so.  remove the germans, peel off the stickers, scratch up, paint red, presto, ork truck.

Yeah I've been considering that idea, also the Bradley M2 caught my eye. And my vehicles are ever yellow with black flames, black and metallic, or metallic and stripes of yellow. (go bad moon)

German WWII half tracks are good. Or some of the early open topped Assault guns (Stug I, Marder etc).

Also Soviet BMP's, if you can find them in 1/35, with the tops removed look kinda orky. Russian stuff has that bulky, solid, but will get the job done look, rather than NATO kit with looks too good.

Also British WWI tanks have  a very 40K look to them, I've always thought of trying to convert one as a Battlewagon.
