Shoot them with a Hammerhead. A lot.

If you'd like more helpful advice I suggest you offer a little more in the way of the situtation or the resources you have with which to plan.

well any tau units and the lib like shooting lots of nasty warp stuff at me

As with any heros try and pull out the high Str weapons, although if he has an adamantine mantle he cant be instant killed .

Then see above. Shoot at him. A lot with a big gun. Else Deep Strike a suit next to him and shoot him, or tie him up in Gun Drones, or ignore him and concentrate on other parts of the army. Without actual detail such advice is always going to be this generic and tasteless.

try either: a deepstriking suit or 2 with plasma, fusion, multi or else 1 or 2 deepstriking gun drone squads. if hes in a unit he wont be able to use fury of the ancients (from your first post it sounds like he does) because it cant pass trough his own units and if hes out of a unit use the deepstrike mentioned above. do you play mech or static? what sort of army does he use? are you only looking for anti librarian tactics?


ps: never rely on statistics but remember its 9 pulse shots to kill a marine and twice that to kill a terminator (so 36 pulse shots to kill a 2 wound terminator armour model)
