Chalabi, the wrong leader for iraq.
« on: April 7, 2003, 06:35:38 PM »
What the hell do they think they're doing!  >:(

Chalabi and his soldiers entered south iraq with the permission of the coalition. He will fight together with the coalition against Saddam. Chalabi is a rich guy who fleed from Saddam and who leads a part of the opposition against Saddam.

BUT. He's a criminal and is convivted in Jordania. He's a persona non grata in several middle east countries and even the CIA doesn't like him. The USA has contact with at least 5 other organisation wich are also part of the opposition, but it seems that only Chalabi is given permission to enter iraq WITH his soldiers. I don't think that the others will like the idea of a powerfull Chalabi. He has no support in Iraq and doesn't represent the people of iraq. His presence in the south won't bring the stability we need.

Almost everybody thinks that the USA wants Chalabi to play a big role in the reconstruction of Iraq. Very strange when they know that he hasn't the support of the people in Iraq.
Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear And I'm floating around my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do
