I have been on this website for a long time, and as first posts go, I have to say that yours is phenomenal!  That is a completely bad ass design!  I can't want to see the result when you get it printed.

On another note, I tidied up the coding for you, so all four images should be working now.

Welcome to the community, enjoy your stay!

Most impressive.  :)

Out of interest what software are you using for the modelling?

And with that asked onto comments…

The original concept sketch has a great bio-mechanical feel to it, a nice balance between the organic/daemonic parts of the Knight and the harder lines of the mechanical. The rendering come across as far more organic and while still great work doesn’t quite match up to the bio-mech concept. I’d harden up the lines on the edges of the armour plates and add some kind of banding and then fade into the softer organic details towards the centre of the plates to give the impression that it was a machine but the daemonic element is slowly spreading outwards.

Big thanks for the warm welcome and for the help with the code ! =) i`ll try to keep the updates as soon as possible !
I uze zbrush for modelling. Its still a very rough scetch, and when it will be prepared for printing it will be divided on to different parts. Most of it will be reworked, and armored plates will look like metal armored plates =)

Hi Alex and welcome to 40konline.

I must say that I disagree with khaine in that I prefer the look of your renders to that of the sketch. The sketch is a bit stylised for my taste and I am not sure about the fingers you have given the Knight. Looking forward to seeing the finished render.

I wouldn’t really say I like one over the other, for me the render is a great cyber-daemon, something the Dark mechanicus would summon from the warp and then experiment on by nailing metal bits to it as opposed to a machine that has become corrupted over time by being possessed. Not a case of better or worse just… different.

Then again maybe it’s just the H R Geiger fan in me that likes the bio-mech look more. :)

It's funny that you should say that as I thought Alex had pretty much nailed the look of a corrupted machine. The only thing that might need toning down, in my opinion, is the muscular arms as they seem a bit fleshy.

Then again maybe it’s just the H R Geiger fan in me that likes the bio-mech look more. :)

Maybe this explains our different outlooks. I have never been a fan of surrealistic art and H R Giger is no exception.

Well hello there welcome to 40k and as welcome as a fellow 3D modeler. ^^

That's some pretty nice work you have there the render is neet and precise and you have some interesting things in here. If i may had some more productive comments, i know zbrush work wonderfully in simetry but! And that's a big fat but (wiggle wiggle ... ok Never mind i'm out), you should concider doing an very much less simetrical work. This a transformation from machine to daemon therefore is is gradually taken over and does a virus spread every where in your body at the same speed, i doubt so. Ypu should try it at some point. I might be a bit twisted as i dolike non-symetrical things. I know you are in the early stage of this but well early stage does not mean info to waste.
Next is i will  have to agree with khaine clearly not enough armor to my liking. This is a titan. If you look at other chaos unit that are armored demon most of them have prettyWell hello there welcome to 40k and as welcome as a fellow 3D modeler. ^^

Next is i will  have to agree with khaine clearly not enough armor, or mechanicum at least, to my liking. This is a titan. If you look at other chaos unit that are armored demon most of them have pretty defined piece of metal rather than pure bio mass.

Out of this, great work keep it coming. :D
