Topic: How do you beat khorn?

Orks rock so bad in hand to hand but when you take a beserker and beaf him with all the new chaos upgrades mixed with the khorn mark (giving it the blood lust thingo) they rule even more. how do you guys kill a chaos army that ONLY does hand to hand? (900 points max, gotta be 1 HQ 2 troops)

The only thing I can recommend is to outnumber him. Take maxed out squads. I haven't played Chaos yet so I can't really help you here. You can't outshoot them with the basic weapons because they'll just make numerous saving throws. Take a bosspole so you can mob up. BUM RUSH!!!

Remember that if you keep your ranks thick, it will take a lot for him to cut through you. Use Kans and other armor...most Khorne armies are weak against armor.

Yes, take a basilisk hide it, and blow the up, also some dreads and kans would do nicely, and some warbuggies with Kustom Mega Blastas, they put a nice den't in any SM army when they hit or don't blow up.

Mega armour against Khorne chain-axes are you stupid what a waste of points. Blow them apart from range before assaulting

Would it work against khorn if i had a speed freaks army of 4 truck boys troops (you can do that with speed freaks) my battlewagon (xapp gun 2 twins and 5 bolt ons) with my warboss and his retinue of 6 nobs and a mek with a kustom force feild. and my 7 bikes........ i think thatll work. any ideas?

The problem with mega armour and khorne chain axes, it makes that nice 2+ Sv a 4+ Sv and the fact that you strike last with Mega Ar. It is better to have Eavy Ar. and a choppa. That said trukks and mega ar. still won't work

Haven't seen the ork codex in a good long while, but can't you give flash gitz some AP 2 shootas? You could also go heavy on the scorchas.

i played and beat a chaos army that was all hand to hand, this is what i did, i loaded up 2 full squads of boyz and suped the nob up with mega armor and a megabooster, with his powerclaw he could take down on average 2 chaos guys at a time, the boyz just basically absorbed the brunt of it and took some heavy damage, i would work more on gettin gthe 2 troops to do the most damage, if you march them one at a time and rush the second group into combat after the first assaults you'll have 2 nobs in there doing some damage : )

other then that get lucky with rolls and don't feild a big HQ
