Its an even stranger day when you have a fat Games Workshop-Fanboy Ninja declare to end you for something you did for April Fools on Teh Interwebz.

It's a strange day in the world where I find myself agreeing more often than not with Swiper.  :D

My first thought is that it is the same link that khaine posted as "they come at night". My other thought is that I really like the terrain modules that they have come up with. I'm also thinking that this seems a bit late to really capitalise on the AvP franchise.

Is it really 25 years since Heroquest was first released?

Anybody thinking of backing that may want to hold off, there seems to be a lot of questions still floating around about the IP and Copyright issues with the Heroquest project. It l;looks to be more of a name grab than a licensed product and what may be legal in Spain may not hold up internationally.

Time will tell.  :)

That and there are questions about shipping, not to mention the stretch goals are rather crappy to be honest, especially considering how far apart they're spread. We shall see where this stands in 20 days

It's a shame that it looks a bit of a shaky proposition, because it looks impressive.  It would be great for Heroquest to be revived, but I'm not so sure that they have all the necessary legal stuff in place to be able to achieve that which they say that they can.

I wondered how long it would take for that to happen.

I'm disappointed, but I'm not surprised.  There was a certain air of inevitability about it.

My only hope is that it might spur those who actually do hold the license to the game to put together a commemorative edition, as it would be so good to see this game come back.

Looking nice!  Can't wait for mine to arrive.

How much space does the terrain take up compared to the miniatures/counters/books.

Just under two days to go for Paul & Storm's new album Kickstarter. The guys are a lot of fun and I've seen them at Emerald City CC a few times already.

Deadzone arrived, and I am missing at least 4 dice and 2 copies of the Rebs extra 1 baggie (containing 2 human Rebs plus the crouching Yndij trooper).

How about you Wiggus??

Here's a list of what should be included in each baggie Deadzone: The Sci-fi Miniatures Board Game by Mantic Games » The Great Unbagging

I have yet to go through it, due to going to throne of skulls on 17th january im getting my Tau finished, ive been informed they wont ship replacements till january so i dont need to go through it till then. im only sitting on 3 connectors sprues and would have liked more seeing as i kickstarted for £307 but hey ho. im happy with the moulds and the terrain is amazing games looks good too.

Be very careful removing connectors from the terrain, make sure you push it out from the other end (a clear flight stand seems to work for me), not try to pull it out with your finger nails.
Also the inside of the holes need a bit of a file down, as the mould lines make it very difficult to get the connectors in/out.

Again not something I'd back but a piece of kit that could have some amazing possibilities when combined with a 3D printer...
