Thank you all for managing to get the site back up and running. Its good to be back.

Since the site went down, I can happily announce that I finally won a game against Trannids, in over 200 games! Since then the losing streak has returned, but hey, Ive done it once.

Also I'm liking the new look of the site.  Not bad at all.  :)

Good to see the forums are back up.  Even though I don't keep up with the editions these days, it's still cool to poke around.

Might even see if there's anyone interested in continuing/restarting some of the RP forum threads from a few years ago.

Profile > Forum Profile > Look and Layout > Current Theme

You can select the change option from there, and choose a different option.

Ahh! thank you I looked and looked  but couldn't find it, now I see that the button for change was a bit inconspicous ;)

ah!....  SMF Default Theme - Curve  much  better :)

well I would like a better look  but if its look VS layout, layout wins .

What's wrong with the new default theme?  I was actaully considering removing the other themes entirely...

The alpha centauri theme is responsive, so it displays nicely on mobile devices...
Actually, the 3 studio themes are also responsive...

What do you not like about the new theme?

well I guess it is a wee bit silly, don't like the big buttons at the top. I want them a bit further down and smaller :)  Then I could have sworn there was a display change that I didn't like in forum threads, but that don't seem to be there now so..... or I just remember it wrong anyway.....

I always had a tendency to like clean basic layouts too so....

guess I could have gotten used to it but habits are hard go breake ;)

Kindred, I think that it would be best to keep the SMF Default Curve available as an option for everyone, because dark backgrounds and themes are not to everyone's tastes.  Also, there are still some glitches with the new theme, so being able to compare it to the SMF default to check for errors is useful :).  I agree that all the other themes could go though.
