And Kirk is just sooooooo damn cool! No one can mach him in his skills. Except me and Creeping Death ofcoarse

Don't even joke about that.

There are some other people who match him in skill (John Petrucci of Dream Theatre, Yngwie Malmsteen of.. his self titled band, etc), but I still prefer his sound to theirs.

And Shadow Lord, you see I would have an online guitar duel, but you see I don't have $300 to buy a guitar port.  ;D

And my amp sounds like %^*#.

I'm in the same sh*tt whole as you Creeping Death, I need to scrape enough money to finish customizing my piece of crap guitar and then get a new one (hopefully). I may also get a head for my amp, since mine is an old crate, but good size.
Yes there are others that can mach Kirk, but I always prefer his blues/metal sound over others. Thats what I'm shooting for too  ;). It will be hard, but I think I can do it.

Actually wait... I just remembered that my brother bought an old digitech pedal (one that is better than it's replacement) for a super-low price on eBay. I get to use it until he pays me back (I loaned him the money to buy the pedal), and it has the capability to record stuff and play it back on the computer. I might consider putting some guitar stuff up soon... ;D

Thansk no offence but I think Metallica have a larger fan base than Linkin Park.
Also any flaming will not be tolerated and the thread locked after three warnings.

What is sp wrong with Lars I mine I am not an expert on Metallica so I dont know but What is the matter with him? But saying that my favourite member is Kirk he rocks.
Was it Kirk or james who was taught by Joe Stariani. I think it was James but I am not sure.

I believe that Kirk was taught by Satriani, or Vai, or someone like that.

What's wrong with Lars? WHATS WRONG WITH LARS??!?! :o

Who hired Bob Rock, producer of Black album, Load and ReLoad? Guilty.

Who started suing people for copyright reasons? That would be Lars.

Who gave Metallica a bad name in the past few years because he's a straight-out-&*^hole?!?! Lars again.

The main reason would be hiring Bob Rock, or Satan as I like to refer to him as.

"Ride the lightning" is indeed one of their best albums and my metallica favorite. "fade to black" is their best song IMO.
Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear And I'm floating around my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do

Yeah, it's quite hard to narrow it down to one favourite song. I like a whole slew of songs, and I couldn't really put one ahead of another.

What kind of Metallica do you like Spirit?

I'm back!
My gf drew me this awsome Metallica picture, and made it 'romantic', I guess  :) Just wanted to share that with you guys.  :)

I agree with you Creeping Death the whole way on Lars! And have you noticed that he is terrible with metaphores? He tries sooooo hard, but he sucks!
EX:
"The train man! Its all like... you got to hang on man.. but you cant cause its a train, and its moving, and you got hang on, its dark!"
WHAT!??! ??? ;D

But yes, if you're a true fan and a metalhead you will usually have severa favorite metallica songs, not just one.  ;)
And I fall under the 'Ride The Lightning' category  ;)

"The train man! Its all like... you got to hang on man.. but you cant cause its a train, and its moving, and you got hang on, its dark!"

I read in the paper today (an article on Metallica) that Lars still thinks that their best days are ahead of them...

I hope he's not serious. They still have Bob Rock. The only good thing is that they're not as bad as Load and ReLoad anymore, and replaced that idiot Newsted with a respectable bass player (still not as good as Cliff though).

Lars might have been dropped as a child :-\

I agree Rob Trujilo, god I have no clue how to spell or pronounce his last name!  ;D  HE is good! I love the fact that he uses FINGERS! not the half ass pick that Newsted always, ALWAYS used.  And he is very good, but no one can replace Cliff. sad story hehad to die  :'(, he would have been the best bass player today, and I'm not kidding. Sad Sad Sad  :'(

Yea Lars is a bit..... out there..... What he thinks is stupid, lok at him! He's loosing hair! Maybee what he meant that the next few years are going to be the 'best', because he is going to suck in so much money from this album. I hope he meant that, because things whont get better after the few years this album is going to be popular.

Anywho again, Lars's metaphore suck! my god its sooooo ahHHHH!

"The train man! Its all like... you got to hang on man.. but you cant cause its a train, and its moving, and you got hang on, its dark!"
Cracks me up man  ;D

American interrogators are going to use Metallica to bombard Iraq officials to confess what they know. Ads they believe Metallica is so alien to anything they will have heard they will break down and confess. They will also ues Barny and Seasme street tunes endlessly to make an impact.
Metallica said
"They didnt want to comment on how their music was used."
This is a great story on Radio 1 news I heard this
*Opening bars of Enter Sandman*
"Could you stand this for hours"
*turns to look at radio incrediously "Hell yes"*
It then went to a repoter on the streets of Baghdad to play it to Iraqis.
Opening bars of Sandman
Iraq" That is completely alien to anything we have heard it is horrible"
repeated with Master of Puppets
" Wow that is cool what is it."
repeated with Sandman
"ARRGGH that is horribel what is it that is inhumane"
I think the are in for a hard time though I might go and give myself up for interregation I mean listening to Metallica for hours on end is bliss ;D
