Looking for script writers for some War40k units..
« on: October 18, 2013, 12:04:41 AM »
We're building a War40k game in the Real-Time Strategy genre and need some characters scripted to fit as a playable unit in the game.

The unit list compromises all of the Space Marine Deathwatch!

This includes Builders, Infantry+Sergeants, Commanders, and Vehicles!

Please PM me if you can offer your fluff/codex and writing knowledge/skills asap.

Thank you community!

I'm confused. Are you looking for help...

1. Writing fluff for Deathwatch-related units?
2. Formatting something for a boardgame codex?
3. Writing dialogue for Deathwatch units?
4. Writing plot for Deathwatch units?
5. Scripting/programming into a video game?

If #5, you may want to provide some more information. What's the engine you're using to create this? Is it part of its own game, or is it a mod for an existing game (such as Dawn of War)? My question  probably seems obvious, but you mention scripting in one sentence, and then seem to focus on fluff-knowledge and general writing skills in another.

Haven't you been at this for four years already? Are the Deathwatch the last lot to be done or have you started again from scratch?

If you can't make fun of something, it's probably not worth taking seriously.

You have to love the smell of science in the morning. It smells of learning.... or perhaps a gas leak.
