Topic: 1000 pt all termagant and hormagaunt army?

How would an army of all termagants and hormagaunts fair with a big lord or something? Looking for a cheaper army that can mass and lay it down cc. These guys seem to fit dunno how the army would work?

If they take out the big guy, they'll all run amock and you'll never kill big armor, but still if you did it right (tried to keep enough cheap synapes nids close by) you might win with sheer numbers. good luck painting all those bugs.

lol was just curious. What does a good CC 1k army run for tyrannids?

Cheaper than my dark angels  I've invested under a hundred to get somewhere between 1000 and 1500 pts, thats considering I'm using a lot of 3rd ed stuff thats still legal (and of course, a current codex), they seem to be cheaper overall for the little guys, the big bugs are a different story, I would say they are a little more than most armies, but they're usually a lot meaner! I really started nids because some are included with the battle for Macragge starter set so why not add way too much to my tiny nid army!
