I think that's a conversion using the parts of the Whirlwind with the body of an Exorcist.  DJ-of-E, those sisters look great. Excellently painted. I'll try and get pics of my small GK list soon.

Not the greatest, and both are WIPs, but:

These are of Sister-Canonness Gyrfalcon, who is Mistress of the Seraphim:

These are of Sister-Canonness Halcyon, who is Mistress of the Battle Sisters:

Nice GKs Warlord.  Such wonderful models.

Here are some more of my Emerald Blades:

Here is the army in full Parade Ground.  This is my 'core' army, of things that I have painted, totaling to about 2,000pts.  This is what I think of as the real Emerald Blades.  I have other units, like Repentia or Inquisitors, but Repentia don't factor into the Emerald Blades' background and Inquisitors rarely bug them.

Here are my 3 Exorcists.  1 'True' Exo, and two made of Whilwind and Immo Bits.  The Pipe Organ is not painted yet.  It's just so detailed, and I have yet to find the time to paint it, though it is still 'playable'.

A close up of some of my Battle Sister Squads and their Rhinos.

A close up of of Blue Squad.  They can sub in for Celestians, if I wish to use that unit, since the unit is made up of helmeted girls.

A close up of Red Squad.  The little ribbons in their hair are purity seals.  Red Squad is the most Faithful of my squads, and like to festoon themselfs as such, with marks of purity and faith.

This is Silver Squad.  Not much to say about them.  Loyal and steadfast, this squad usually performs very well.  Note that they like to try out unconventional hair styles.

This is Purple Squad.  Newest to the bunch.  Not much to distinguish them.

Gold Squad is the top-end Battle Sister squad in the army.  They perform the best and this squad contains the most experienced Battle Sisters and Superiors.  Note 'Strawberry' and 'Blueberry' in the background.

These are my Serapehm.  Teams Gold on the right and Green on the left.  Tough and hard hitting, expected to succeed at the the most dangerous of missions, the Seraphem are the top end warriors of the Emerald Blades.

Bear not my body home,

And I shall die in Rome."

Wow, everyone your armies look great.

@CheesyRobMan, I love the Yellow and Red scheme,  looks great.
@Gornon, Your army is very cool. Nice muted green. The cannoness flaming base is sweet and I love the Grey Knights!
@AfrikProphet, Your tanks look really cool. The schemes makes them look like rolling cathedrals.
@DJ-of-E, stunning army. need I say more.
@Fafnir, Also great looking models. I really like the converted grey knights.
@PIN_H34D, Nice red scheme and quite well painted from what I can tell. I'd like to see more.

Here is my Daemonhunters.

where did you get that one, that looks amazing you must tell me!!!!!... tell me NOW!!!..... lol...

lol yeah its actually a pretty simple but effective conversion using the hull top piece from the immolator sprue and the missle rack from a whirlwind. the armor plates on the front and sides were from the exorcist set (god I miss the days of bit ordering), there are a few forgeworld resin bits (the fleur de leys on the side and back and the parchment on the left missle launcher) and two flowing scrolls from the Raven Wing/Dark Angel accessory sprues, as well as the really awsome plates/tombstone looking things from the Immolator sprue. There you have it now make your own!

Nice models everybody.

@Gornon- Like them on Parade Ground. The pipe organ already looks painted to me. The gold fits in well. I recognize Gryfalcon and Halcyon among your Seraphim.
@CheesyRobMan- I agree the the paint scheme you used looks great. That Cannoness looks good too.
@Killersquid- It's great to see your Grey Knights again. The fire on their Nemesis Force Weapons always amazes me.

@CheesyRobMan-Excellent detail work!  I love the eyes.  I wish I could do that, but I don't have the patience or dexterity.

@Killersquid- Thank you for your kind words, however, I don't have GKs, are you thinking of Plastic Warlord?  :)

I like your Grey Knights, though.  It's nice to see GKs that are not silver.  The flames you added to the Nemesis Weapons are a nice touch, too.  Are those fantasy figures I see?  If so, that's a good idea.  I do similar, using a Undead Hunter from fantasy miniatures line.  Paint his sword blue and instant Inquisitor!

The best part is that it is cheap.  I use the same.  I bought an Immolator and a Whirlwind.  This gave me, with some modeling tricks, a Rhino, and, in addition, a chassis that can act as an Immolator or Exorcist.

@Sergeant Haller.  Thanks.  That was the first time I ever had them stand at parade ground, and I have to admit, I like the look.  Looking at the whole army deployed, I realized how much Halcyon stands out.

I've been collecting WH for over five years, and have gotten a lot better at painting over that time. I am slowly bringing the less-well painted models up to spec; I am almost done polishing my 1750 army for a tournament coming up in two weeks.

My favorite part to paint is definitely their hair! I used to just drybrush them white, but now I got blondes, brunettes, and redheads (but the redheads are all retributors, pictures not included).

Here's the whole army:

And some select closeups:

P.S. Please to ignore duct tape on doors!

Nice Sisters, objectionator. Judging by the number of tanks and models, you're the Mechanized kind of Sisters player? BTW are these all of your models? I actually do notice the difference in hair color.
