But their output isn't up to much in terms of production at the moment, and you have to wonder what price this super-clean fuel will sell at?

In England for example, you will often pay more (sometimes a LOT more), for free range eggs or Organic foods, even though both require fewer processes to produce.  If it's enviro-friendly you will pay through the bloody nose for it, believe me.

That's quite common. The production costs are generally higher, the production units are generally smaller and so the bottom line is generally higher, and lastly there's generally a larger degree of spoiling with ecological produce.

It's perfectly possible that this will go nowhere, but I have no idea at the moment.
