Title: Space Wolf questions

Thanks for helping to clarify:

1) If Wolf Guard joins unit of Scouts as pack leader, will Wolf Guard pack leader benefit from Scout special rules (like behind enemy lines, scout or outflank)?

2) Can opponents single out the Wolf Guard pack leader (leading a unit of Blood Claws or Grey Hunters for example) during close assault like an independent character or is the pack leader like a "sergeant" who cannot be singled out in combat?

1&2 answered in 1 go, they become a Sargent for that unit, they are part of that unit, so they cannot be singled out and gain all the benefits/rules of that unit.
