I have a choice.I could buy a chapter approved from a guy for $20 or I should look for a better price at the Canada gamesday.Any advice?

Oh yeah a few questions about CDR rules;

#1; how much do mass points cost?

#2;can you have massive or gargantuan monsters in 40K or just Epic?

Ich bin die Verkörperung des Todes!

Im waitng in my cold cell,
When the bell begins to chime,
Reflecting on my past life,
And it doesn't have much time.

Cause at five o'clock,
 they take me to the gallows oooooohhhh!
The sands of time,
for me, are running low!

To answer your second question, the Tyranid creature design rules are to make gargantuan creatures for 40K, epic has its own set of rules.

As for the first question, thats a little harder to answer.  The base cost for a mass point is modified based on the toughness and armor save of the creature so it really varies depending on what you want to create.
The Tyranids are the most rapidly evolving race in the galaxy.  They are super-predators destined to hunt all others to extinction.
