Oh my god they look sweet!  ;D

I myself am going to be falling really fair behind.  I don't think I'll get any painting done until the end of May. :P

Well, I haven't really picked up a brush in 2015, due to massive burnout after last year's challenge. That said, count me in. I won't challenge for a top spot, but hopefully I'll get something done.

That said...I did just break my foot, so I'm going to be around the house for a few weeks...

@talon undecided  You actually scored 20 points for April.  10 points for painting 10 models and another 10 points for basing them all.

@Ambience 327  I think 2 points is fair.  If someone else has terrain we will have to discuss them as they are brought up until something fair is decided on.

I have a few models finished for April:

I don't have the best free hand but I have tried some on the scrolls for the terminators.

Thanks Ludo for the clarification.

Adding another 5 more Skitarii Vanguard to the challenge! Only Detailing scored for the Alpha, though.

5 Vanguard = Painted, Based and 1 Detailing = 11pts

Talon's Total = 31pts, aye?

It lasts the whole year.  Everything you want scored will need to be posted by January 5, 2016.

Cool, thanks!

I've currently lost access to my work station on account of major redecorating but when I get it all back, BOOM, lotsa painting!  8)

I'd love to be able to join in on this again this year but, alas, all my painting/modeling projects have ground to a halt as I've begun flight training while still working full time. I think it's gonna be some time before any of my models see another drop or glue, GS, or paint :(

Everyone's been workin' hard. Gotta keep up the pace!

First walker for the challenge - no detailing yet. I seem to be focused on completing an army first before going back on details, but I know that's probably gonna bite me in the butt in the future.

Meantime, enjoy.

1x Sydonian Dragoon = 6pts (Painting) + 2pts (Basing) = 8pts
Talon's Tally: 39pts

I painted a character for my Harlequins, A Death Jester.

So that'll be 7 points? Painted and based.

My Flesh tearers army continues to grow. I decided to throw in the Angel's Sanguine Wing formation.  I have one of the Vanguard Veterans squads complete, all with power weapons. I'll have to take a small hiatus from painting the Flesh Tearers in May.  My local GW store is doing a painting competition with a focus on monstrous creatures.  Looks like I will be adding a dread knight to my collection.

Points:
Assault terminators painted/based/detailed (free hand scroll work) = 15
Vets painted/based/detailed (transfers) = 30
Assault marines painted/based/detailed (transfers) = 15
Raven painted detailed (brass etchings) = 7
Character Painted + based = 7
Total 74 for April

Great looking stuff as usual. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get anything more painted in April. Hopefully May will be more productive on that end. (Translation - I'm having too much fun kitbashing characters for my Imperial Agents army and can't be bothered to put down the blades and glue long enough to pick up a paintbrush...) :D
