All I have to say is FINALLY.   I have been looking at the FW planes but the idea of putting resin on an arial base and not knocking it over, frankly scared me.    Depending on points cost and such (and where you can use them, hopefully in regular games as well).  I think I will fork out the cash for a few.

Will definately give the green baron a run for his money.    My orks have been wanting to go airborne for awhile now.

OK, now you have me drooling over new models I must have. Thankfully these have come out before I started laying out monies for dreads and kans (whew, close call....) I will now plan on a fleet, or at least a squadron of planes.  8)

So what could be better than a burna fighter painted red? Of course the answer is; Nothing  ;D

May I ask where you found the source? I would like a direct link so I can go and maybe pre-order or just drool over any additional pictures.  :)

Those are pretty sweet looking. Ill have to avoid getting them, I have too many boxes of orks sitting on my painting desk as it is. Darn GW and always finding more cool plastic toys to suck away my soul! (and wallet ofcourse)

Oh well, those are still some pretty sweet models. I bet I could make one of those Dakka jets look really Deffskullz like with some looted punisher cannons...

As far as source goes just type "ork flyers" into goggle and something will pop up.

As usual GW hasn't acknowledged them as yet but they will unveil them for pre-order on their site tomorrow, for sale next friday.

Only BA can have those (maybe GK can take them too).   Why give anyone else an advantage?  An assault plane that can carry a dread how cheesy convenient.

Right-click on the pic and paste the URL into your browser for a much bigger version and the source site. I just found it on a friend's FB page linked to a Blogspot account.

Being an aviation nut IRL, that picture had me grinning like a Madboy and bouncing around the house for a while earlier on   ;D

They look really good...  But I hope the stats are a little more impressive than those listed...  Compared to some of the other flyers out there, the ork fightas look pretty weak...  Maybe they'll be cheap point wise to compensate!

The stats are now available in the latest white dwarf so I've removed the rumored ones from the above post. Here's a non-copywrite breaking rundown (hopefully :P)

The Burna Bomber can put out alot of cover ignoring templates but is very expensive.

The Blitza Bomber has a good anti-tank weapon :o (gets extra penetration dice) and is nicely random :)

The Dakka Jet seems the best as it is the cheapest and can put out 18 very accurate (for an ork) assault cannon strength (no rending) shots  ;D really good at taking out most things.

All of the planes are as fast as the dark eldar flyers with the same special rules for movement and shooting, are as well armoured as a trukk and cost similar to a deathrolla battlewagon for the cheapest version.
Also all are in the fast attack slot.

I like the prices Games-workshop placed on them, cheaper than I expected. I really will have to try one of these Dakkajets. I can think of a few pesky Dark Eldar that are in need of some airborne punishment.

Thank Gork and Mork that GW released the fighta/bomma model when they did!

I was about to start investing in dreads and kans, and presto a sign from the gods that I should remain a full fledged speed freak has arrived  :)

So, since they are to be a fast attack slot, this means I NEED at least 3, and if you can squadron them, then even more. 8)

Now, I have to think about how I am going to go krumping without my rockit buggies...  :o

I'm really excited about the dakka jet...  I'm hoping it's going to be a good AT element for the ork army...  I love my buggies, but theya re really hit and miss as far as at goes...  I'd really liek something that is fast and can really put a hurt'n on transports reliably so the boyz can swamp the contents!

Good Times!
