Well its been a while again I know but time for another update, While I've been at uni and not had the time for much modelling and painting I've somehow managed to continue collecting stuff for my renegades. So heres a quick update on my progress before I get back to converting!

more various renegade models. Most in need of GS work and stuff

mortars, masks and things needed.

Classic catachans I'll be spreading out amongst my force, need gasmasks and stuff.

I've decided to change my autocannons a bit from the quite spindly looking plastic ones. Luckily I have 3 forgeworld chimera ones I don't really want to use any more.

I also came accross this nice old yarrick model with a damaged powerfist and decided to get him working as a lord commissar (or perhaps a Yarrick stand in). All he really needs is a mask and a little tidying up around the fist now.

this is probably the most personal and enthusiastic army i have ever seen, i am very, very, very impressed by the progress of all the conversions, all the time that has to be poured into every model, even for low-point models as guardsmen (or whatever rules used for these guys ;P)

how far is the progress to a completed force? (minus the paint then, that can take a bit...)
in the sense of what will you be adding? what can we look forward to?

again, i'm so impressed that sitting here with a smile on my face.
if it didn't have khorne symbols all over it, it would be hella inspiring too :P

thanks for sharing. now MORE!

Wow, thanks Noodles. I do spend a lot of time on my mens yeah, I think I rank converting as my number 1 favourite part of the hobby  :)

Lots of piccies this time, I've been doing more building and some painting! I now have enough stuff to field a 1500 point army. I'll be adding more and more artillery to my army now I think.

Bottom row are - Inquisitor, astropath/Hq psyker, Sarge, eversor.

Phew, pic heavy or what!

hey!
i like your color scheme, very ... effective. proves a point, or something like that, while actually being rather stylish.
your blended troops are awesome. must be a hell to place and transport, i personally get crazy when a unit is mixed plastic and metal models...
still love the effort put into every individual trooper, and the work you have done on those classic catachans is just awesome, a little detail and WHAM, totally new models!
the tanks look a bit under-detailed, besides the one with... like... alot of detail. hehe.
no worries there, but could be cool to at least give 'em some more battle damage or the likes.
cool to see all the odds and ends, obscure models i didn't know excisted as well as the old metal sentinels, wow... i haven't seen one of those in ten years!

So progress isn't so fast at the moment, I've been enjoying some victories with these guys on the table. Makes a change I can tell you!

You did a very good job with those sentinels.

Yours might just give me some ideas as I have two of the old 3rd ed. sentines myself.

thats some really nice work on the sentinels, you really kind of reinvented the model for me. i especially like the heavy flamer set up and the flame coming out of it.  cant wait to seem em painted up with the rest of the army, everything is looking really good.

Built some rough riders while the next IG competition may involve hooves! ;) The large steeds and legs (and one of the riders) are gorkamorka mutie raiders, the smaller ones are mounted daemonettes with sister repentia bodies pinned in.

The cool thing about doing an IG army: you've got such much converting material!

Here I see so many cool conversions and so much dedication!
I always love seeing somebody who loves to put greenstuff on each of his models. This army is getting serious big and it's just awesomely converted and painted. The endresult will truly be amazing.

The Dark Moon Kabal ,possibly the biggest DE army ever!

Cheers Artcore and kharandhil :)

More updates, painted some more stuff recently. I've done more painting in the last few weeks than I have in a long while.

More converting too.
