BA - Furioso Dreadnought.
« on: December 9, 2008, 06:18:03 AM »
Hey guys,

I was wondering if there are rules still in existance for this chap. I found the old solid metal one at the bottom of a long lost bitz box.

With the 5th ed rules... does the second fist actually have any use whatsoever?

-Ulfhedinn-
"The very touch of our god's breath overwhelms mortal senses with the scent of delight... the slightest purr of our god's voice is enough to stimulate the senses into eternal and blissful oblivion. To the followers of Slaanesh the mortal world is grey and insipid compared to the sensual paradise that is the master's affection."

The Furioso Dreadnought is still used in the current Blood Angel Codex which is free to download from GW:

Can be used as either standard Furioso, Venerable Furioso or a Death Company dreadnought.

The purpose of me giving a link to the BA Codex was so Ulfhedinn could find out the rules for himself and so as not to break forum policy by posting stats/rules.

EDIT: My apologies. I'll go and beat myself with a trout for that...

You could also use the model as an Ironclad for normal SMs, since they also have 2 CC weapons.  It might take some work for the seismic hammer, but until a model comes out, a Furioso is the closest thing out right now :)

Slightly off topic: what does a seismic hammer look like anyway?
If all else fails, hit it with a hammer.

Go have a look in your dad's toolbox ;)

Really it can be any thing vaguely hammer shaped. And large. And destructive looking.
Too be honest it doesn't even have to look like a hammer; a mace or flail would do.

pillage some weapons off of the war jacks from warmachine (privateerpress) and you have a vague idea lol

What I am going to do fo ra Sismic Hammer is take a claw from my two clawed FW DA Dread, and add electricity though paint, and otherwise make it stand out from the other claw.

On topic: Yea, the Furioso has rules, and can legally be used in both Codeices (acknowledging you either make one claw a Chainfist or like a Seismic Hammer)
