Clearly the idea of the disease/shields is that you add and remove them AFTER you do your hurt/heal, otherwise they serve no purpose. I suggest from now on that it is done in that order (hurt/heal, THEN disease/shield/cure/unshield).
Yes this is a good idea, Everyone make sure to pay attention to this I'll add this to the first page also.
