Registeration starts soon and I've only heard great things about this event.

Just reccently come back to the hobby and I"m hoping to jump on a few tournys  to get some good and fequent gaming in (reason why I stopped).

Any one here planning to join?  I was thinking about fewing a specialist army (RW/DW mix) cause it just seems so fun to play. 

How is the gaming qualtity at this event.....are they many special armies or just ones stacked for the 'win'

Do you have a link? And where is it taking place and when? I might show up, I'll just need to touch up on the paint jobs on some of my dudes. I have been to two tournaments before and I was smoked. Maybe if I go to this one, I'll fair better.

astronomi-con tourneys are great.  i went to last year's vancouver one.  i didnt see any armies coming just to win.  there are good composition restrictions/bonuses to get that helps limit the cheesy armies.  i fully recommend going if you get the chance.

fyi, my eldar got best army there!

I am going to sign up I think. I am not sure what army I will use, I'd like to finish grey knights for it though .

Just signed up for it.  Probably goign to feilding my DA unless I find an huge amount of free time to research and build another army.

Yeah, if I don't get the grey knights done (which shouldn't be that hard   ) I'll just bring my IG, at least the fact they are converted will help 'em out a bit. Though a fellow I was talking to says that the tables are ~4'x8' so I'll need to make sure I have a very mobile force.

I have not signed up yet. I'll need to wait for my next paycheck so I can give someone with a pay-pal account cash in exchange for them to sign me up .
