Another option to look into is a Dremel saw. It's basically a rotary saw with different head attachments and makes short work of cutting through metals. The cheapest one I think is $40 usd, but it saves you a whole lot of time and elbow grease.
As for the army list, one caveat is sending in that precious HQ unsupported. Make sure either an equally fast unit ties up your targets first before the HQ engages it or run a 2:1 blitz. Hell, if you throw caution to the wind, you might as well play using the Wych Army rules.
