Hey bud! So either you have bionics or don't sleep, you're  a painting machine! I remember being young and that ambitious, keep it up, you're excitement keeps me motivated and others I suspect too.

Thanks, Dread! I assure you I do sleep! I just try to do some painting a couple of hours most days of the week now. I'm hoping to get my armies fully painted or at least make some major progress before Teclis and Co. arrive.

That's a good looking bunch of minis.

Have you tried spraying the orange eel with some matte primer? It's a nice shade of orange imho.

I haven't really looked into the AoS stuff, but more Elves is always a good thing.

@ Nutty, haven't tried that, I think it's dulled down quite a bit now. It was mainly shiny when it was drying, which is when I took the picture :).

A Big Durthu has entered the field!

Mostly Stage 2 washes, still some basing left to do.

Ah that might've been it.

The big tree looks great the contrast between the earthy colours on the body/head and the brighter sword looks really cool.

Looking good mate, the Durthu is such a great model to paint and the swords in the wood elf range are stunning :)

Hmm? Somethings not looking right. I know you still got a lot to do but...I think it's the lower leg and feet color, maybe to yellowish? Of course could just be me. I'd suggest maybe a white dry brush on them. Other then that looking good.

Hi Dread,

I haven't even based the inner wood yet, which is why it's that weird off white color (wraithbone primer). I think you might be right about the feet, if anything they should match the lighter bark mainly on the back.

Will change those feet!

Thanks, Mage, I'm proud with how Durthu has come out so far! First time making a sword fire effect, which was cool to do!

Such dedication and now expectations from your fellow brothers. I'm excited waiting to see. I've a friend coming tonight so I'll be painting but it's gonna be on my CSM Black legion. Long over due for sure.

Very nice! Don't think you can let anyone down :) again the colors are so smooth and vibrant. Thanks for the vote on my BL, tinkered with them then went after my sisters. That head dress is amazeballs!

Thanks, Nutty! Yeah I'm trying to get both armies raised up to Stage 2 before moving onto stage 3 together and above together. And I'm trying to get as much progress done before Teclis arrives ;D.

Thanks, Dread! I really had a lot of fun finishing volturnos, I think he's one of my favorite painted models in my collection! I too like the way the headdress came out  :).

I really like the blue Eels, I'm assuming the different colour schemes are for different units?

The purple on the cloak has come out really smooth, looks great.

Thanks! That's just one eel, Mage ;D! I was originally going to do that, but I think now I'm just going to be randomizing the colors in each unit. I only have three units in total of eels in my new list.

And thanks about the cloak! It still needs another highlight of purple.
