Hello All,

After spending 1/2 hour today moving posts from General 40k to their respective boards, I'd like to kindly ask all of you to post Army / Race specific posts into their boards.

That means if you have a question or topic that deals specifically with Space Marines, to please post them over at the Space Marine forum.

If you're on EldarOnline and don't see the Space Marine forum, you can hop on over to 40k.ca and post on those boards (your account works on both forums - which are essentially one - you just need to log into 40k.ca) at www.40k.ca/community . You can also navigate to these other boards quickly by using the "Jump To" bar at the bottom of each board.

Thanks for keeping things neat and tidy.

Almost everything is related to a specific army.

But i guess the General 40K forum is for things that will be interesting for people who don't play that army too, such as new rules for a certain type of unit, e.g. the new wych rules.
The problem is to decide if something is interesting for other players or not.

There are plenty of things that are general 40k. For example, if you wanted to discuss the use of armor by armies...or how plasma guns work -- this would be a good place.

Or if you wanted to discuss certain bits of history, this would also be a good spot.

This is kinda of topic but since .ca is what canadian websites use . Is www.40k.ca canadian? Becuse I am canadian and I think it would be realy cool if 40k.ca was Canadian.

yes 40.ca is canadian. .ca is only for canada as is .co.uk is for the UK and so on.

Just wondering, who's getting hurt if we put spesific army stuff on general 40k. People are more likely toread it. For instance if I posted some rk stuff in the ork board not many people from other armies would see it, let alone give their view.

I like to read anthing thats interesting so it just seems as if it would be much easier if it was all in one place.

No one's getting hurt per se, but as Raine said, this isn't an army specific forum. It's General 40K. General sounds more like the place where you should post...scenarios, special events - maybe even things like your opinions on recent WD or Gamesday and whatnot. I think ideas for NEW armies that don't have thier own forums could fit the bill as well, seeing as how they have no home of thier own this would be a good place to post on them, discuss playtest results, etc.

Also, I discriminate against Space Marines! Go to your own boards!!! I'm only kidding. About the discriminating that is...

hey raine not to be insulting or anything but it is a huge pain going back and forth between boards if you have several different armies like me i have eldar imperial guard and chaos but why not just post here cause so many peeps come here and look they dont just go to there specific boards plus we can get advice from everyone here.

You'll get use to it Biel-Tan guardian, I have 3 armies. Eldar, SM and Chaos. Eveybody does it what's different with you? Slow connection? Having all the forums in one board would take up a lot of space. Also it may slow down the loading.

We'll be doing some site redesign shortly and I'll keep in mind the navigation while redoing EO.
