Sorry, no. Also, I'd like to know, why you need the FAQ from three editions ago?

A group has started a campaign based on 5th ed but with a bunch of modifications. As I understand it, it was easier to adjust 5th rather than try and untangle the mess of 6th or 7th. The players enjoyed some of the more tactical depth rom earlier games, such having to think about how you face your tank, etc.

It's best not to post any links to such resources.

Magenb, regarding the FAQ itself, it may be possible to find an old copy via the wayback web site, but otherwise I think that you'll be out of luck, unless someone printed a copy off or saved it somewhere.  I may have it saved on my old PC, but that's a my parent's house, so I cannot check.

I can see why folks would not want to play 8th, but 5th was a broken edition. Why not just play 7th and not use formations? That keeps things simple.

Even without formations you still have things like flying Demon princes, etc and more special rules than you can poke a stick at ;) Either way I'm not making the campaign, just joining in.

Enjoy transport spam!

Ah, 5th Edition--when I regularly lost games because one Vyper refused to be anything other than "stunned."

Seriously. 5th edition, also known as Razorback Spam edition. Also, freaking Grey Knights. If you thought elder were bad in 7th, Grey Knights are way worse . I don't miss it lol.

Don't forget bullamphetamine parrot Thunderwolf Cavalry abusing wound allocation rules! And who can forget the IG Leafblower!

I mean, there was a lot of good in 5th Edition, but it was really not well balanced.

Thankfully no Grey nights in the campaign :) At the moment its hanging around 850 points and no unique/named characters, so no flying land raiders just yet ;)

Landraiders and stormravens were pretty rubbish in 5th. Blood Angel, Grey Knight or Space Wolf razorback spam with tons of 5 man squads is where it's at. Or Blood Angle Vindicators moving 12" and still shooting their big gun lol.

Let's stick to the topic of the Eldar fifth edition FAQ in this thread please.  Discussion of the campaign and/or the merits or otherwise of fifth edition belong in new topics.
